Spelt is a spouted grain. It is a soft bread but tends to dry out faster due to the low gluten content and lack of preservatives, but it freezes very well. This bread is wheat free and vegan. It is very low in gluten and carbs compared to other breads and has zero grams of cholesterol and sugar. Spelt is a great option for weight loss diets and diabetic diets. Makes great grilled cheeses, sandwiches, and toast.

Can be made as dinner rolls on request.

    I love this bread! Toasted with mashed avocado, salt & pepper….yum! Low in carbs too!

    I just discovered your bread store. I had heard of spelt flour, but wasn’t familiar with it’s properties. I love that this loaf has just a few ingredients. It is simple and delicious! I will definitely be back for more.
